Who we are

Migrate Tenant ("the service") is a Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration platform operated by BITSUMMIT. You can reach us at hello@migratetenant.com.

What we process, and why

The service exists to move data between Microsoft 365 tenants that you control. During an engagement it processes the content required to do that job: mailbox items, OneDrive and SharePoint files, Teams chat messages, and directory information such as names, email addresses, and group membership. This data is processed solely to perform the migration you configure, verify its fidelity, and produce engagement reports.

We also collect account information for the people who operate the console (name, work email, sign-in activity) and operational telemetry about migration runs (timings, item counts, error states) so the service works and support has something to go on.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not use migrated content for advertising, for profiling, or to train machine-learning models. Access to engagement data is limited to the operators you authorize and, where you ask for help, to support engineers working on your case.

Where data lives

Engagement state and reports are stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS; data at rest is encrypted by the platform. Credentials and client secrets are held in a dedicated key vault and are never written to logs.

Retention

Migrated content is transient: it moves from your source tenant to your target tenant and is not retained by the service beyond what a running migration requires. Engagement records and reports are kept for the duration of your engagement and deleted on request once the engagement closes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Write to hello@migratetenant.com and we will respond. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date at the top.
